Exeter City is backing Safer Internet Day

5 February 2018

Exeter has added its support to a global awareness campaign and is encouraging fans to ‘Create, Connect and Share Respect’ to help make the internet a better place this Safer Internet Day.

On Tuesday 6th February 2018, millions across the UK and globally will be celebrating Safer Internet Day and Exeter City FC and CITY Community Trust has pledged its support along with hundreds of schools and organisations across the UK.

Coordinated in the UK by the UK Safer Internet Centre, the day is a great opportunity to talk to your family and friends about the responsible, respectful, critical and creative use of technology, and to remember that ‘a better internet starts with you’.

Exeter City will be helping raise awareness for Safer Internet Day, by posting information on our social media accounts.

Visit the UK Safer Internet Centre website, where you can take the Safer Internet Day quiz, see what’s happening on the day, and find out more about what you can do to help your friends and family to stay safe online.

Together we can create a better internet.

This Safer Internet Day the global theme is ‘Create, Connect and Share Respect: A better internet starts with you’ and [Insert club name] is calling on fans to get involved. Here are ideas about how you can help to create a better internet:
