Jayden Stockley's strike against Notts County at Meadow Lane on Saturday, January 20 has been voted YOUR Vospers' Goal of the Month for January.
The strike in the 42nd minute helped City to a great three points on the road, taking 57% of the total votes.
Craig Woodman's strong challenge on Jorge Grant allowed Jake Taylor to pick the ball up and play an excellent ball over the top for the City number 11. After controlling the ball, the forward played it onto his left foot before he curled an excellent effort past Ross Fitzsimons.
Speaking about winning the award Jayden commented: "It's great to win the award and to contribute to such a good win. It was nice to shift it onto the left foot and get a good goal away."
"It's nice to win awards voted by the fans, it shows you are doing the right things and you've got their support. It's a nice feeling personally."
