DATE CHANGE: Supporter Engagement Centre now on July 24

29 June 2018

During the 2018/19 season we are combining our work across both the EFL Family Excellence Scheme and Away Fan Experience Project.

In fact we are going a stage further to involve the widest possible spectator spectrum. To help achieve this we are holding our first Fan Engagement Centre in the Heritage Lounge on Tuesday, July 24 at 6pm and we’d like you to join us. (Please note the date has chaged due to the World Cup Fanzone for England's match against Colombia)

For eleven seasons we have participated in the EFL Family Excellence merit award. In recent seasons we have successfully built our progress year on year culminating in being judged League Two runners-up last season and 15th amongst the 72 EFL clubs. The majority of these clubs having far more resources to deploy on fan engagement making our achievements to date even more commendable. The task now is to go one better and win the League 2 award outright. To get into the overall EFL top ten would also be admiable.

The Away Fan Experience Project was in its second year last season. A fairly disastrous report by a Notts County supporter left us in the dumps two years ago. But last year despite the restricted capacity we chalked up a creditable and satisfactory overall score of 8/10 across the areas reported on.

Our Fan Engagement Centre will review what we have done in the past to achieve second place and see what we can do to strive to hit the top spot next season. To become even more inclusive of the wide diversity of supporter, add new ideas and refresh our approach to the match day experience.

The Centre will be designed to discuss strategic elements relevant to all our supporter base. To gather new ideas and a fresh oversight of our activities. So your ideas and suggestions will be most welcome. To help us develop activities likely to increase the focus on, and the likely success of, activities aimed at driving growth.

The Centre will be open to all supporters who feel they have an idea to suggest, an improvement to be made or skill to offer.

You can just turn up on the night. But it would be helpful if you could email: customerservices@exetercityfc.co.uk so that we can send you full details and get some idea of numbers to plan refreshments.

Can’t make it to the Centre? Want to make a suggestion on an activity we could use to enhance the match day experience? Want to recommend an improvement in a particular area or even want to help please email: customerservices@exetercityfc.co.uk.

We look forward to seeing you at the Centre or hearing from you with your suggestions by email.
