Supporters' to hold minute's applause for Daniel McCarthy on Saturday

Exeter City supporters' will be holding a minute's applause at Saturday's match against Carlisle United for City fan Daniel (Danny) McCarthy, who sadly passed away this week.

Danny worked as a steward at St James Park for 21 years and all at Exeter City are deeply saddend to hear of his sudden passing.

Shannon, Danny's granddaughter said: "Danny was a loving husband, father and granddad/great granddad and will be sadly missed by all. He was a big part in so many people's lives and made a difference to many people in Exeter."

The minute's applause is planned to take place during the 68th minute.
