Exeter City's match against Northampton Town on Saturday, March 9 will now kick-off at the earlier time of 2pm.
The change is due to Northampton Saints facing Bristol Bears in a 3pm kick-off, on the same day which would provide a direct clash with the match along with the logistical issue of very heavy congestion on the roads before and after the match.
By kicking-off at 2pm staggering the start times by an hour, this gives football supporters of both teams the opportunity to get into the parking spaces first and be able to leave the site ahead of 15-18,000 rugby supporters who will share the same roads to exit their stadium.
