Exeter City Supporters' Trust would like to thank everyone who has responded to our survey.
The results will be used by the Trust and the Club to enhance the interaction with the differing supporter groups and the matchday experience for all fans.
The survey was written by Director designate, David Clough, with input from The Trust, The club, the Chartered Institute of Marketing, a Premier League football club and the University of Exeter Business School.
It was distributed at two home games in September and individually sent to over 12,000 email addresses associated with the club. The decision was made not to have a link on the website to ensure that responses were from Exeter City supporters only. There were 73 questions and submissions closed on 22nd September.
It’s a reflection of the strength of support for Exeter City that 1,356 completed surveys were returned, an amazing response, which included over 25% of season ticket holders. The initial review of the responses was performed by Professor Andrew Parker at the University of Exeter Business School.
There is a huge amount of data and information from the survey that will enable the Trust and the club to make informed decisions which will improve the supporter experience.
Much more analysis is being undertaken and we are looking at 2 or 3 periods of differentiation to truly get to grips with the thoughts of the supporters. In the meantime we have completed the draw for the eight amazing prizes and these are the winners:
