Lee Martin's match-winning stunner against Crewe Alexandra on December 15 has been voted YOUR Vospers' goal of the month for December.
In the 42nd miute, Lee Martin received the ball out on the right before he cut inside and unleashed a wonderful left-footed effort past Garratt in the Crewe goal to give the Grecians a deserved lead. It would prove to be enough to give the Grecians all three points.
Speaking about the strike, Lee said: “It ranks quite highly. I seem to have to score the hard way. I have got a few long rangers, but I don’t tend to score tap-ins. I am working on that though.
“The ball slowed down on the pitch, so I just managed to shift it a little bit and I just swung the left foot at it.”
