Details ahead of Saturday's match with Notts County

22 March 2019

Exeter City will be looking for back-to-back victories to Meadow Lane on Saturday in Sky Beat League Two.

The Grecians moved back into the play-off places on Saturday with a 3-0 win over Colchester United and face a Notts County side battling for survival at the wrong end of the table.

However, manager Matt Taylor is expecting a tough game as Notts County having only been beaten once by a side in the top half of the table at home this season.

“We expect it to be a tough test but all our concentration has to be on ourselves we know that if we put in a performance that we are capable of then we are a stern test for any opposition,” said Matt.

“We go to a good stadium and hopefully a good pitch, followed by good backing, which we usually have away from home, and it is a game we can look forward to.”

LAST TIME WE MET

Exeter City recorded a 5-1 victory over Notts County when the sides met at St James Park in September.

Pierce Sweeney headed City in front before Jayden Stockley turned home a low cross from Hiram Boateng. Enzio Boldweijn pulled a goal back before second-half goals from Sweeney, Stockley and Aaron Martin wrapped up the win.
