City manager pleased with performance in 2-0 win over Newport County AFC in Trophy

Exeter City manager Matt Taylor was pleased with the performance of all of his players as the Grecians took a big step towards the knockout stages of the Trophy with a 2-0 win over Newport County AFC on Tuesday night.

Two goals from Matt Jay settled the tie, which took City top of the group with six points and one game remaining, but Matt Taylor said that it was difficult to single any one out as a star performer as the whole team played well.
