Exeter City's under-23s coach Dan Green praised the mindset of his players as they recorded a 3-0 win over Aston Villa in their opening group game of the Premier League Cup.
After a tight opening half hour the Grecians took control of the match before half-time and deservedly went into the break a goal up through a close-range strike from Ben Seymour. The second half saw City dominate the proceedings and add further goals through Matt Jay, from the penalty spot, and a header from Jordan Dyer.
