Exeter City will face Newcastle United under-23s at home in the Premier League Cup in the last-16 of the competition.
Exeter City, as winners of Group D take home advantage to face Newcastle who were runners up in Group C.
The young Grecians were in superb form in the group stage of the competition and are unbeaten. The competition started with a 3-0 win over Aston Villa, this was followed by a 1-0 win over Doncaster Rovers, a 2-2 draw away at Portsmouth and then a 4-0 win away at Aston Villa and a 2-1 win over Portsmouth and finally a 2-2 draw at Doncaster to seal th group.
