Jayden Richardson's sweet finish against Oldham athletic has been voted YOUR Vospers' goal of the month for February.
Jayden, on-loan from Nottingham Forest opened the scoring in City's 5-1 rout of Oldham Athletic on Tuesday, February 11. A fine flowing move on twenty minutes saw Archie Collins pick the ball up in teh middle of the Park, drive forward and feed MJ, who played a lovely ball through to Jayden and he finished with a deft chip over Oldham goalkeeper Zeus de le Paz.
The goal was Jayden's first professional goal and after the match Jayden said:
“It’ s unbelievable. I could never have dreamed to score a first professional goal so hopefully it’s the start of many more. The ball has been played through, I’m one on one with the goalkeeper and he’s gone down early so I’ve seen that and lifted it over him.”
