Over the hundred plus years of its existence Exeter City AFC Limited has issued shares a number of times and many people bought them, usually in small numbers.
The Club has the name of just over 200 individual shareholders on its Register but over the years we have lost touch with some of them.
We are now making a real effort to find all the Club’s missing shareholders and we are asking for your help. Missing shareholders fall into two categories – those we know to have died whose shares were not transferred and those who have moved where we don’t have their current address. In quite a few cases we have no address at all.
So, do you own or do you think someone in your family once owned shares in the Club? Are you the heir or executor of a deceased shareholder? Can you provide us with an up to date address? Any information that you can provide would help us to make the Register as accurate as possible and more importantly enable us to fully engage with every shareholder who was sufficiently motivated once upon a time to buy a stake in the Club.
Don’t worry if you can’t provide the original share certificate (though it would be nice if you could) as we will provide you with a simple form of indemnity to sign to enable the transfer to take place.

If you have information that you think can help us (updated details or next of kin) please click here or write to the Trust at the Club marking the envelope “shares” so we can make sure it goes to the right person. Please reply by Friday 19 June as we intend to start the process of formally removing unclaimed shares from the Register at the beginning of July.
