Matt Taylor has given his thoughts after City sensational first win of the season against Bristol Rovers.
Taylor's Grecians were 4-0 up inside 24 minutes in the West Country derby, and he was delighted with their first half performance.
"We started the game well and created at will. The scoreline reflected our dominance, and the performance showed where we went to be as a team," he said.
"It was a really bright start and you could feel it within the atmosphere, it just seemed to lift the whole group.
"For the first half an hour, we just did the basics and did them well. As a footballer the hardest thing to do is to play that way consistently when you're winning."
