One of our Own, Archie Collins has been awarded the Apple Taxis' Exeter Player of the Month AND Vospers Goal of the Month for January.
Archie has been an ever-present for the Grecians this season, playing every minute of City's matches in January.
The award is Archie's second consecutive Goal of the Month after his stunner last month against Forest Green Rovers.
Archie's strike against Stevenage on January 23rd picked up the awards for Goal of the Month. Matt Jay gave the ball to Collins just inside the Stevenage half and he had the space to take it to 25 yards out and unleashed it off the bar and into the goal for his third of the season.
Speaking about the strike, Archie said: "To captain, score, and win... It doesn't get much better than that!" he said after his ninth minute strike.
"It was a really good move building the ball up to me. I just struck it nicely and it went in off the crossbar once again.
"We were due a performance like that. We look to Tuesday which we see as a winnable game."
