Exeter City Football Club are now officially verified on TikTok, the social networking platform for viral short-form videos!
TikTok is growing especially popular with younger audiences, so it is a great way for the club to reach out and engage with the next generation of City fans and beyond!
For those fans who are not yet familiar with TikTok, it is a social networking platform for sharing user-generated videos. Users can create and upload their personal videos, expressing their creativity and passions. Videos can be grouped by hashtags, which often correspond to the latest challenges or memes.
Featuring Ollie Watkins’ goals vs Plymouth, Tom Parkes’ tackle vs Oxford United, and more videos from the archive, the account has already amassed more than 40,000 likes and 200,000 views!
Lorcan Hankin, a Voluntary Media Assistant at Exeter City FC said: "TikTok has been a great way to interact and engage with younger fans of City and other football clubs from across the country. It is a great way for users to see content which is a little different from what they see on the other social channels, with its more light-hearted and, arguably, more entertaining nature!"
