Exeter City kick-off their pre-season schedule on Tuesday evening, with a trip to the Optima Stadium to face Weston-Super-Mare in front of supporters for a 7:45pm kick-off.
A young Grecians side will face a Seagulls side that play in the Southern Premier South. Exeter City have strong links with WSM, with the likes of Ollie Watkins, Matt Jay and Joel Randall having productive spells at the Optima Stadium.
The match will be the first that the club have played with supporters in the ground since Boxing Day's clash with Forest Green Rovers.
Matt Taylor's Thoughts
Speaking ahead of the fixture, manager Matt Taylor said: "It will be a young team to start with on Tuesday. We have to be mindful of where the group are on the back of last week's work - they worked really hard so we will look after some of the more senior ones on Tuesday.
"It's important with new players coming into the club and younger ones signing the forms that they get used to our ways of playing and they've got to get to know each other and there is no better way than a hectic pre-season schedule.
"The players and staff are really looking forward to playing in-front of fans. It's something we've not done in a long, long time. These pre-season games will be a great opportunity for our fans to see the players up close. Something they've not been able to do for a long period of time."

Due to fans being able to attend the match there will not be a live stream, so that Weston get the best opportunity to get some well needed revenue after not being open for so long.

Weston-super-Mare are based at the Optima Stadium on Winterstoke Road, where the club moved to in August 2004.
The capacity of Optima Stadium is 3,500 in which 2,000 is covered and 350 are seated. The record attendance for this ground 2,949 in a match in the FA Cup against Doncaster Rovers on 18 November 2014.

City last faced Weston-Super-Mare in July 2019, when Ryan Bowman, Joel Randall and Jack Sparkes all hit the target in a 3-0 win in pre-season.
