Exeter City head groundsman Charlie Woolnough has provided an update on the renovation works that are due to start at St James Park this week.
The renovation works at both St James Park and the Cliff Hill Training Ground will be the most in-depth since the 2009/10 season and Chaz is confident that the club will see the benefits.
"There have been some days where we have been out preping the pitch and I've had to put my hand on my heart and say I've not been proud of that surface at all.
"We are going to be better than what we have produced for hte last few weeks. We are very confident we have done everything we can to make sure it is a pitch that is fit for Exeter City to play on, and one the club can be proud of."
