City boss Matt Taylor has given his thoughts after the Grecians season ended with a 1-1 draw with Barrow, meaning a ninth place finish.
Results elsewhere meant that even with a win, City couldn't make the play off places and the boss has expressed his disappointment.
"It's pretty raw. We wanted to end the season on a high even if the results didn't go our way at other places," he said.
"Unfortunately we didn't do that.
"We had enough chances to win the game, but ironically that still wouldn't have been enough."
