City boss Matt Taylor has given his thoughts ahead of preparations for Saturday's trip to face Salford City at the Peninsula Stadium.
It is the first of two long distance away trips for the Grecians, with the side taking on Bradford City in the FA Cup next weekend. Taylor's men are in good form following two wins on the spin.
"We go there with confidence on the back of our last few games," he said.
"I firmly believe Salford will improve on their league position but we have to ensure they don't start doing that this weekend. They've been good at home - they've only lost one all season there - so that's where their strength is.
"They're a side that get on top and put you under pressure. You can generally judge a team on their home form so we know what we're up against.
"We have to play our style of football."
