Matt Jay has praised the team's recent form as he looks ahead to Swindon Town on Saturday.
City have kept a clean sheet in the last four league games and the captain is hoping the team build on that come the weekend.
"The clean sheets have been something we've not had in a while so it does feel we're heading in the right direction. Two wins and two draws I feel, and I think the team feels in a pretty good place right now."
The skipper also feels the team are suitably prepared for the Swindon test.
"We of course know what Swindon can do and what they're capable of. We'll really be looking to punce on their weaknesses. They've got good players up the top end of the pitch, but so have we so it's going to be a really good battle and one we're really looking forward to."
