Reasons for fans feeling valued included players acknowledging fans on a match day, the regular communication with fans on all club matters and enabling supporter representation at Board level.

The Grecians also scored highly on the important topic of fan engagement with a score of 4.6 out of 5 which is higher than the ELF average of 3.8.

With the implementation of a new ticketing system this season, it’s encouraging to see that the process of purchasing tickets was ranked at 4.5 out of 5, higher than the EFL average of 4 with a high percentage now booking in advance and online.

The key factors to the high rating included the attitude of staff, level of information provided, options and the lack of booking fee attached to purchases.

Nick Hawker, CEO said: |We are grateful to the supporters who took the time to complete the survey and who gave such positive feedback about the club. It's important to us to listen to our fans as we strive to improve all aspects of both the club and the supporter experience, and surveys such as this help us to do this.

"Thanks to all the staff and volunteers who do so much to ensure that our supporters are welcomed and have a great experience at St James Park."

The club will analyse the results and take all feedback into consideration ahead of the new season.
