🪣 Club raises over £800 for Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal

Thank you to Supporters

9 March 2022

We would like to say a massive thank you to fans who attended Tuesday night's match vs Swindon Town as we raised £807.80 in aid of the Ukrainian Humanitarian Appeal.

Supporters of both teams donated generously to our bucket collections for the Disasters Emergency Committee Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. Donation points were placed around St James Park in the Centre-Spot, Fan Zone, shop and hospitality areas.

Elaine Davis, Director of Community Engagement, was thrilled with the fundraising efforts.

“Thank you ever so much to your response and generosity to our bucket collection for our game against Swindon. We will be putting the buckets back out ahead of our game against Salford City and through your kindness will hope to break the £1,000 barrier. At Exeter City we’re proud to support this course and will continue to do so in future.”

Donation points will be in use again on Saturday. Please donate to the appeal if you can.

DEC charities are in Ukraine and neighbouring countries meeting the needs of all refugees and displaced people:

  • £30 could provide essential hygiene supplies for three people for one month
  • £50 could provide blankets for four families
  • £100 could provide emergency food for two families for one month

Donations to the appeal go to member charities and their local partners responding in Ukraine and in neighbouring countries. DEC charities are experts in humanitarian relief with decades of responding to crises around the world – from earthquakes to floods as well as conflicts.
