It will be the Grecians first trip to south-east London since, coincidentally, September 10 2011, excatly eleven years ago to the day of this match. Charlton won 2-0 that afternoon through goals from Bradley Wright-Phillips and Dale Stephens.

The Addicks previous match this season was a 3-1 defeat at Bolton last weekend, despite them taking an early lead in Lancashire. The Grecians were 1-0 winners over MK Dons at St James Park thanks to Cheick Diabate's second half header, which lifted City to 7th in the league table.

Manager's Thoughts

Taylor's men head to the capital looking for their first away win of the season.

"There is no pressure on this group of players," he said.

"I have not spoken to the players about what to expect, I don't need to. These players have played in front of huge crowds before - and it's a fantastic place to play.

"There will be a pressure on the home team. If there was pressure on the players I'd talk to them about it, but this is one to embrace and to enjoy.

"We go there well supported and the supporters will sing their hearts out."
