Jack Aitchison is gearing up for his first league campaign with the Grecians, as City head to Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday.
The forward has succesfully completed his first pre-season campaign under Gary Caldwell, and is looking forward to competitive action getting underway.
"It's going to be a really tough game. There's always an atmosphere and excitement about the first game, it's been a couple of months so we're all really ready to get going.
"It good to have so many games early on, especially if you win your first match. But if you don't, there's so many chances to put it right.
"I'm really looking forward to a tough start to the season."
