It’s a long time since we last had a dress rehearsal at SJP for the start of season! This will give all the support staff an opportunity to ensure, like the team, we are best prepared for the 23/24 season
We will have a NEW service for our First Time Visitors! But it won’t be available for Coventry as we need to test to make sure it works!
Starting at the Blackpool game we will be introducing a new mini Tour Taster. This is brief version of the FREE Stadium Tour which stats earlier on matchday mornings at 11am. A helpful walk around the stadium to familiarise you with what to do and where to go.
If Saturday is your first visit you don’t have to miss out and will be welcome to come back and join us on our maiden excursion (before Blackpool August 12). Please head for the Fan Zone Tombola Stall and register to reserve your place. The brief 1:15pm tour taster will end with a picture opportunity in the dugout and a certificate for any youngsters.
Getting to SJP on match days
(EX4 6PX – visiting fans EX4 6PU)
Getting to the stadium cannot be easier. Stagecoach buses drop off all around the Stadium: in Sidwell Street, Old Tiverton Road, York Road, Pennsylvania Road, Prince Charles Road and Blackboy Road. All less than a stone throw from the Stadium. Single fares are a maximum of £2.
Travel is, however, very disrupted by rail. On the trains there are no GWR services running. This includes the branch line to SJP. This could well make roads and local car parks very busy. Suggesting that Park and Ride/Cycle will become a popular option.
Park & Ride or Park and Cycle are available as you enter the City from Honiton Road, Matford and Sowton. CrossCountry trains are running from Coventry to St Davids. But there is a chance the 17:15 return journey might be provided in part by bus.
Buying Tickets couldn’t be easier: online at https://newtickets.ecfc.co.uk, by phone to 01392 411243, in person at the Club Shop or on the match day from 12 noon at the Fan Zone Ticket Booth.
St James Park has plenty on offer pre-matched to keep the whole family entertained and to make sure your St James Park experience is extra special.
Just take a look at what is available below...
Make your way to the Club Shop before or after the match. It is the only way to obtain your official City souvenirs and check out what’s new or any special offers.
And remember there is a 10% discount for Season Ticket holders, Junior Grecian and Trust Members (Excl. match programmes and reduced/sale items).
The brand new third shirt will be available to buy at the match!
First time visitors
First time Visitors can pick up a Welcome sheet that defines all you need to know about your local Club. If it is your first visit please let us know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and we will endeavour to make it memorable for you.
The Ambassador Team are located at entrance points and immediately inside the stadium and will be happy to assist you with directions or answer questions.
There will be a game activity on Saturday to win a small prize. Announcements will include away travel update, Women’s football and a Grecian and Blues’ supporter announcing their respective teams shortly after 2pm.
Announce the City team or Join the Guard of Honour
If you have the drive and feel you can get supporters cheering you can announce the City team in the Fan Zone.
Want to be on the pitch as the players enter SJP? Then be part of the flag waving, Guard of Honour!
The Guard of Honour for Saturday has 2 vacancies. If your child would like to be part of the flag waving team welcoming the players and officials onto the pitch on Saturday or at a future game please email email@example.com. Children taking part not only get on the pitch but also receive a certificate of participation and a bag of sweets!
Junior Grecians Lounge
The Junior Grecians are the Official Junior Supporters Club of Exeter City FC.
The room provides a safe comfortable environment for families to enjoy pre-match entertainment, such as a large screen TVs, Playstation consoles and Table Football, as well as the option to enjoy refreshments from the Zone’s very own kiosk.
Due to the early kick off there will be no Stadium Tour this weekend. To make advance booking for future match days please visit Stadium Tours - Exeter City FC. The FREE tours provide a wonderful opportunity to go behind the scenes of your club on a match day when the ground is coming alive visiting the Museum, Boardroom and Dressing Rooms. Tours last between an hour and 90 minutes.
Food and Drink
One of the most important part of any match day! We have a wide range of hot and cold drinks and snacks available at the kiosk for away fans.
You can pay by cash or contactless payment at the kiosks at St James Park, either tap your card or mobile device on the reader to pay!
Locally Sourced Hot Snacks
Kenniford Farm will be providing their usual farm produced pre-match fare (including chips) and will also be open at half-time for users of the Selco BM stand.
Inside the Stadium the kiosks have a range of food, confectionary and drinks available. If you are in the Selco BM stand please remember that the JG Zone is open for all at half-time and also has a kiosk. Giving you the opportunity to catch the half time results on their screen while you much your pasty or drink your coffee.
Trust Queries & Membership Applications Ticket Booth
There is now a dedicated Trust window at the Ticket Booth in the fan Zone. Pete Cordwell the Trust Minutes Secretary will be pleased to meet prospective new members who want to be a part of the Club or those who want to find out about all the work the Trust does and benefits of becoming a member.
