Voting is now open for Exeter City Women's September Player of the Month award!

City began the month with a 5-2 win against Southampton in the WNL cup and apart from a 1-0 loss to Oxford United, went on to convincingly win the rest of the September fixtures. Standout performances this month mean that Maddie Durrant, Leah Burridge, Sophie Gillies & Sarah Stacey have all been nominated for September's player of the month award.

This season's award is sponsored by the City Gate Pub and Hotel. Maddie Durrant

Following her arrival from Bristol City, Maddie has quickly established herself as a key part of the City attack. Creative and clinical, Maddie has assisted goals for the Grecian's as well as scoring against Hashtag United and Abingdon United to complete an excellent first month in Devon. 

Leah Burridge

Leah has showcased the qualities that made her a key summer signing, including a commanding performance in the City midfield against her former club. Calm in possession, Leah has been the focal point in the Grecian's midfield this month and has established her quality in the team.

Sophie Gillies

September proved to be another consistent month for the Grecian's most nominated player of the month. Sophie has backed up quality performances with four more goals, including a hat-trick against Hashtag United.

Sarah Stacey

City's number ten continues to play a key role in city's attacking play, having opened the scoring against Hashtag United before netting a brace against Abingdon United. Sarah has produced a consistent month for Abbie Britton's side.
