For the second time this season, Abbie Britton has been named the FA National League Southern Premier's Manager of the Month!
Having won all three games in December, a month that saw City Women rise to second in the table and into the fourth round of the FA Cup, Abbie has become the first manager to win the award twice this season.
December started with an emphatic 4-1 win against Billericay Town, with goals coming from Zoe Watkins, Sarah Stacey, Georgie Barbour-Gresham and Pheobe Baker propelling the Grecians up the league.
Next up for City was the FA Cup, where Britton's team secured a dramatic extra-time victory over Worthing, before rounding the month off with a competitive 1-0 win against Lewes.
On receiving the away, Abbie Britton said: "I'm delighted, it just goes to show the hard work that all the staff continually put in, the time they give up.
"It obviously highlights what we're doing on the pitch is working, so long may that continue."
Well done Abbie!
