Supporters are invited to gather at St James Park on Friday, July 31, to say a final goodbye and pay their respects to Club legend Alan Banks as he makes one final journey past the stadium he proudly called home.
On behalf of Alan's family, fans are asked to assemble by the away gates on St James Road from 12:45pm, where the hearse will pause as it passes the ground. This will provide an opportunity for supporters to come together, reflect on Alan's remarkable contribution to the Club, and give him the fitting farewell he so richly deserves.
Alan was a true servant and legend of the Club and will forever be remembered for his dedication, passion and the lasting impact he made both on and off the pitch.
Please note that there is no parking available at St James Park, so supporters are encouraged to plan their journey in advance and allow plenty of time to arrive.
It is expected that the memorial service at Exeter Crematorium following the procession will be extremely well attended, so Alan passing by St James Park on the way there is an ideal opportunity to pay respect to a true Club legend.
