Exeter City midfielder George Birch has joined Chippenham Town on loan until the end of the season.

19-year-old George heads down to The Thornbury Surfacing Stadium to link up with Gary Horgan's side who are battling against relegation from the National League South.

George has had a breakthrough season for the Grecians, making his EFL League debut away at Doncaster Rovers on the opening day of the season. George scored a stunning goal in City's defeat at the Etihad in the Emirates FA Cup third round and has spent a productive spell on loan at Weston-super-Mare earlier in the season.
