Bradford Preview

The Grecians are back on the road this Saturday making the long trip north to face Bradford City at the University of Bradford Stadium.

City will go into the match well rested after last Saturday's match against Burton Albion was unfortunately postponed due to the fire at SJP. The Grecians will be looking to bounce back from the late defeat at Leyton Orient when they take on the Batams on Saturday.

Our hosts come into the game in fine form and currently sit in second in League One. After being promoted with a third placed finish in League Two last season, they've adapted strongly and sit just a point off the top after Saturday's 0-0 draw with Bolton Wanderers.

This is the first meeting of the sides since Kieran Phillips chipped City to a 1-0 win which was crucial to gaining promotion from League Two during the 2021/22 season.

To all the Grecians making the trip - we thank you for your support. Sing loud and sing proud on Saturday!

Bradford City 0 Exeter City 1 | 12/02/22 | EFL Sky Bet League Two

Kieran Phillips’ gorgeously dinked finish was enough for Exeter City to take all three points the last time City headed to Bradford. The Huddersfield loanee flicked past Alex Bass for the only goal of the game on the stroke of half-time
