City Women defender Lily Dowling has joined Marine Academy Plymouth on loan until December, subject to FA approval. 

MAP were promoted last season as champions to the National League Divison One South West, a division below the Grecians, and have already made several signings this summer as they look to establish themselves within the WNL.

Lily made her senior debut for City last season in the WNL Cup against Portishead Town, before going on to feature against Oxford United at SJP, as well as being a regular in the Development Team. 

The Grecians will face MAP in a pre-season friendly this Thursday, August 7, at Erme Valley in Ivybridge as part of preparations for the upcoming campaign, and Lily will feature for MAP alongside her new teammates.
