FC Halifax Preview

The Grecians attentions turn to the Emirates FA Cup this weekend and a long trip to face Halifax Town in a a 3pm kick-off at the Shay Stadium.

City will be aiming to continue the momentum of the last week, after last Thursday's fantastic 2-0 Devon Derby win under the lights was backed up with a ding-dong 4-3 win over Arsenal U21 in the Vertu Trophy on Tuesday night.

City's hosts play in the National League at the Shay Stadium which has a capacity of 14,081. They have made a strong start to the season and currently sit eighth in the League. They come into the match on the back of a 1-1 draw with York City on Saturday.

Last season was one to remember for City in the Emirates FA Cup as they made the fourth round for the first time in 44 years - eventually losing out on penalties to Premier League side Nottingham Forest after the Grecians had held them to a 2-2 draw.

To all the Grecians making the trip - we thank you for your support. Sing loud and sing proud on Saturday!
