Exeter City's attentions turn to the Emirates FA Cup this Saturday, and a trip to the Accu Stadium to face League One side Huddersfield Town in a 3pm kick-off.
The Grecians will be looking to cause an upset at the Accu Stadium and book their place in the second round, but face a tough challenge against a side competing in the division above.
Matt Taylor's side head into the tie having suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat away to Salford City last weekend after an impressive performance against the League leaders. The defeat brought to an end a five-match unbeaten run in all competitions. Before that, City had recorded back-to-back victories at St James Park against Fleetwood Town and Crewe Alexandra, while also picking up a valuable away win at Shrewsbury Town.
Saturday's encounter provides an opportunity for the Grecians to put their league campaign to one side and test themselves against higher-league opposition, with a place in the hat for the second round up for grabs.
Huddersfield, meanwhile, have been in fantastic form in League One. The Terriers have won four of their last five league matches, including an impressive 3-0 victory away at Bradford City last weekend. They were held to a 1-1 draw by Luton Town in midweek.
There is recent history between the two sides, having met in League One during the 2024/25 and 2025/26 campaigns. City will be hoping to draw inspiration from their 3-1 victory over the Terriers at St James Park in April 2025.
With the magic of the FA Cup offering the opportunity for giant-killings and memorable moments, the Grecians will travel to Yorkshire determined to make their mark and continue their cup journey.
