Exeter City striker Kieran Wilson has joined Torquay United on loan until January 2026.
Kieran heads down to Plainmoor to link up with Paul Wotton's side that currently sit third in the National League South. The Gulls head to Chelmsford City on Saturday.
18-year-old Kieran signed his first professional contract with the Grecians back in June, and made his EFL League debut on the opening day of the 25/26 season, away at Doncaster Rovers.
Speaking about the loan move, Gary Caldwell said: "This was something I spoke to Kieran about a few weeks ago. He has been involved a lot on the bench and we needed him for the numbers in the squad and we feel like he needs more game time.
"We need to get him games to continue his development. He did really well in the summer and pre-season and took that well into the early part of the season - and as with all young players they are going to have moments where they dip a little bit. I feel he's coming out of that now and it's a really good time for him to go and show his undoubted quality.
"He's a big physical striker who has great feet and the potential to score goals and now it's important he goes and shows that on loan and gets his experience at another local club. It's really important that we still have the opportunity for Kieran to train with us during the week and also with Torquay. So hopefully the arrangement works for everyone and Kieran goes there and plays well and scores goals."
Good luck, Kieran!
