Match Preview: Luton Town (A) Vertu Trophy

Luton Match Preview

The Grecians are back on the road on Tuesday night, heading to Kenilworth Road to face Luton Town in the Vertu Trophy Round of 32, 7pm.

The Grecians are looking to progress to the last-16 of the competition for the first time since 2020, where they made the semi-finals, dramatically loosing in extra time to Portsmouth.

Should the match finish a draw on Tuesday night, the winner of the resulting penalty shootout will go through.

City will be looking to bounce back from Saturday's harsh 1-0 defeat at Bradford City - despite creating a number of chances the hosts would take the three points thanks to Joe Wright's goal. The Grecians hosts secured a late point against Bolton Wanderers on Saturday, with Gideon Kodua netting for the Hatters.

Safe travels to the Grecians making the midweek trip!
