Women's Match Preview: Oxford United (H)

Match Preview for Women v Oxford United

The first competitive match at SJP this season takes place this Sunday, August 16, as Exeter City Women face Oxford United at 2pm in the team's season opener!

Abbie Britton has undertaken a major overhaul of her team this season with 11 new signings confirmed so far, and so it's shaping up to be an exciting third season in the third tier of women's football.

Opening day tests don't come much tougher than an Oxford United team tipped to be competing at the top end of the table though, and so we will need every single person in St James Park to be strong and supportive in their backing, as we look at kick off 2026/27 on a high!

To celebrate our first home fixture, we'll be launching our brand-new women's away kit with a special kit launch fan zone from 12pm, ahead of our 2pm kick-off.

Be among the first supporters to see the new kit, meet the players, enjoy music, and take part in a range of family-friendly activities, including face painting, bracelet making, and poster making. The first 100 supporters through the fan zone will also receive a free Exeter City Women poster!
