City are back on the road this Saturday, heading to the Croud Meadow to take on Shrewsbury Town in a 3pm kick-off.

Match Tickets

Tickets are on sale for Exeter City's trip to Shrewsbury Town in Sky Bet League Two on Saturday, October 10 - 3pm.

We have been allocated an Initial 507 tickets (497 seats, and 5x wheelchair places.

Supporters can purchase tickets on the day, but this is CASH ONLY from Window 4 of the Croud Meadow Ticket Office.

Shrewsbury Town Football Club was formed in 1886 and has been a cornerstone of the Shropshire community ever since. In 2007 the club moved to Montgomery Waters Meadow, an all seater stadium, built just to the south of the picturesque town of Shrewsbury.

The purpose-built stadium has a capacity of 9,875 across four stands with away fans housed in the SY Communications North Stand. The stand can hold up to 1796 away fans and includes platform seating for disabled fans.

How to get there

By Car

Situated on the South side of Shrewsbury, the Montgomery Waters Meadow is just a stone’s throw away from the A5 and A49.

To find Shrewsbury on google maps then put in ‘Shrewsbury Town Football Club’. If you are using a Sat-Nav then the postcode is ‘SY2 6ST’.

By Train

Shrewsbury railway station is two miles from the stadium. On leaving the railway station proceed to the bus station (300 yards) to travel on the Express Bus Service or Arriva-operated services.

Parking

Parking at the Croud Meadow is mainly by permit but there are a limited number of passes available per game from the ticket office at the Croud Meadow. Tickets cost £10 and are available up until 12 noon on Saturdays (All parking is subject to availability) Meole Brace Park and Walk - SY3 9NB

The Meole Brace Park and Walk is situated approximately 10-15 minutes' walk from the Croud Meadow. Vehicles can be parked for £5 per car for matchday parking at Meole Brace P&R, which is a short 10-15 minute walk to the Croud Meadow. Payment will be by cash only.

At the Stadium

Get down to the ground early and soak up the atmosphere in the FanZone. Gates open at 1pm for 3pm kick-offs and includes live music, and food and drink. The FanZone is situated by the Community Football Hub and plays live music and has food and drink available. It is open to both home and away fans.

Food and Drink

The Croud Meadow is situated next to the Meole Brace Retail Park where you can find a number of different food and drink options, including McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Costa Coffee and Starbucks. 

Pubs for Away Fans

If you are looking for something a little stronger then The Wild Pig and Charles Darwin pubs are the best options. Both are just a 10 to 15-minute walk away from the ground and serve a range of beers, ciders and spirits. They also offer hot meals. Once in the ground we provide catering inside the concourse. This includes a selection of Wright's Pies, Rollover hot dogs, a selection of crisps and chocolate, hot and cold drinks and alcoholic beverages.

Things to do

Shrewsbury is the county town of Shropshire and is set on the banks of the meandering River Severn. The town itself has a long history and many of the buildings date back to the 16th century and beyond. 

Shrewsbury has a lovely mix of high-street stores and local boutiques and there are many pubs, restaurants and bars scattered across the town centre.
