Exeter City FC’s Academy will be holding a Talent ID Event for Under-7 and Under-8 players on Tuesday, August 25 at the Cliff Hill Training Ground
The event is aimed at players in the Under-7 and Under-8 age groups (School Years 2 and 3) as of September 2026 and provides an opportunity for talented young footballers to showcase their ability and potentially take the next step towards playing for Exeter City FC’s Academy.
Exeter City FC has a proud tradition of developing talented young footballers, supporting their growth both on and off the pitch. The Academy offers a pathway for players to develop their skills, confidence and understanding of the game, with many progressing through the ranks to represent the First Team and continue their journey in professional football.

How to Apply
Places at the event are invite only. To be considered, parents/guardians must complete the Online Application Form by Thursday, August 20.

Successful applicants will receive an official invitation by Saturday 22nd August. Unsuccessful applicants will also be notified.
The event will be led and overseen by members of staff from the Exeter City FC Academy, providing players with the opportunity to be assessed in a professional football environment.
We will also be joined by Exeter RTC, a JPL club that we work closely with as part of our commitment to supporting and developing young footballing talent across the region.
