This Saturday we celebrate a special milestone - 125 years of Exeter City Football Club.
The match has been chosen because it is the closest to the first match - a 4-2 home win for St Sidwell's United against Dawlish on 21st September 1901.
The whole day will be a celebration of what it is to be Exeter City FC. We will be playing in their specially-designed 125th anniversary kit and we are producing a double headed souvenir programme, as well as other bespoke 125 anniversary merchandise. It is hoped that a number of former players will also be in attendance.
Thanks to the Club’s partnership with St Austell Brewery, all pints of Carlsberg and Tribute will be priced £3 and all hot drinks will be £1.25 over the weekend.
Every ticket purchased and every supporter inside St James Park helps create the atmosphere that makes our home such a special place to play. The players love your support from the stands so come and make the difference!
Tickets are on sale at advance prices until midnight on Friday, September 18 so why not book early to get the best seat at the Park and save money!

Matt Taylor's thoughts
Exeter City manager Matt Taylor has said that he 'owes a lot to Exeter City' ahead of Saturday's match against Tranmere Rovers that marks 125 years of City.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Matt said: "It's a special club. For those for supporters who've been there through thick and thin from the very start of their lives and for a long time I think this weekend is extra special. And then there's people like myself and the players and staff who have played their part in certain moments within that.
"We've had some fantastic times, both on and off the pitch. It's going to be special this weekend. But you always feel moments like this and celebrations like this remind you of what is special about this football club. And it is the people."
Retro Shirt Competition
Grecians! We need your help to celebrate 125 years of Exeter City!
This Saturday is our special anniversary match against Tranmere Rovers, and we want to turn St James Park into a sea of red and white!
So, raid the cupboards. Get up in the attic. Dig out those old City shirts you’ve forgotten about and wear them to SJP on Saturday!
Got an original adidas shirt from the 70s? A classic Carling-sponsored number? An early Flybe shirt? Or maybe something even older hiding away in your collection?
We want to see them all! And there’s more…
The owner of the oldest shirt at the match can win a pair of hospitality places at a future game at St James Park!
All you need to do is wear your shirt to Saturday’s game, take a picture and send it to media@ecfc.co.uk and we will pick one lucky winner!
