Port Vale Guide

City are back on the road on Saturday in EFL Sky Bet League One action at Vale Park in a 3pm kick-off.

If you’re making the trip to Stoke on Saturday, here is a handy guide to Vale Park.

Match Tickets

Tickets are now on sale for our trip to Port Vale on Saturday January 24, 2026.

We have been given an initial allocation of 600 tickets for the match at Vale Park.

Tickets are priced as follows:

  • Adult (22-61): £25
  • Senior 62+: £19
  • Young Adult (18-21): £17
  • Young Teens (13-17): £12
  • Under-13: FREE - MUST be purchased with a paying person over 18

City fans will be housed in the Hamil Road Stand behind the goal.

Getting to Vale Park

By Car (202 miles: 3hr 39m)

Take M5 to Birmingham and merge onto M6(N).

Leave M6 at junction 15 and take the A500 north to Stoke-on-Trent. Continue on this road until you come to the exit signposted Tunstall A5271. Take the fourth exit, and after 0.5 miles turn right on to the B5051 (second exit, Newcastle Street) at the small roundabout.

Carry on up to the next roundabout and go straight across to the crossroads. Go straight across the crossroads into Moorland Road. Take the second left on to Hamil Road and Vale Park is on the left.

Car Parking

Parking for Vale Park can be booked through - Port Vale Football Club Parking.

By Rail: (3hr 51m) Nearest station: Longport

When exiting the station, you can catch the 98 bus which goes to Vale Park, or follow the road by foot which takes you through the centre of Burslem to the ground, which takes around 30 minutes.

Grecian Travel can be purchased online here. Please buy your match ticket before confirming your place on the official away travel.

Departure time from outside the old Unit 1 Nightclub is at 7:30am. Other stops:

Away Fanzone

Away Fanzone located inside the bycars stand (enter through the turnstiles) where you can buy alchocol, snacks, hot food, etc (within the stands you will find the toilet facilities). Here you will find a specific container for draught beer and cider.

Please note that Tommy Cheedle’s and the Staffordshire University FanZone are predominately a home supporter area however look at more information before attending the game.

Match Timings

Food and Drink

Turnstiles will open 90 minutes before kick-off. In the stadium you will find refreshment kiosks with a hot and cold menu in all three home supporter stands (Lorne Street Stand, Railway Stand and Bycars Stand).

Match Programme

Programmes, priced at £3, are on sale from the club store and can be purchased from sellers located in all stands.

Physical and digital copies of the programme can also be ordered from pvfc-shop.com.

Pubs and Matchday refreshments

Just outside the away turnstiles is a Club Bar called the 'Vale Social'. Otherwise the choice of pubs for visiting supporters to drink in near to the ground or in the town centre is very limited, as many admit home fans only.

Hot and cold drinks are available in the concourse as well.

The distance from Exeter to Port Vale is 202 miles and will take roughly 3 and a half hours each way.
