Exeter City Women are back in action for the first time since mid-December, as they host Plymouth Argyle in the Devon FA Challenge Cup.
Abbie Britton's side left off with a convincing 6-1 comeback win in South Wales as they overcame an early Gwalia United opener to secure all three points and continue their rise up the FA WNL Southern Premier table in mid-December. Since then, a scheduled Christmas break has become longer than anticipated through a number of postponements and rearranged fixtures.
Live football finally returns in the form of the first taste of Devon FA Challenge Cup action for the season, with Marie Hourihan's Plymouth Argyle team making the short trip to the Exeter Arena for the first meeting between the clubs since October. The previous meeting in the league saw Sophie Gillies' opener cancelled out by an equaliser from Tianna Teisar with ten minutes left on the clock.
The Pilgrims come into this game fresh off the back of a 9-0 drubbing against lowly Billericay Town, a stark contrast to the quiet period the Grecians have experienced. On paper, this certainly looks like it will be a tight game, so make sure you're part of it as City look to secure victory at the Exeter Arena.
Tickets for this game are available to buy online ahead of time, with a capped capacity at the Exeter Arena however, we are advising supporters to buy tickets ahead of time to avoid any disappointment on the day of the game. See below for ticket details.
