With a new-look squad, the Grecians improved throughout August to end the month with a string of positive momentum, building on a 1-1 draw away at Hashtag United with back-to-back wins against Bristol City and Lewes at The County Ground.

Bow Jackson
The ever-reliable Bow Jackson is now in her fifth season in City colours and has led the team from the centre of defence throughout all four of August's fixtures, providing a steady presence in a team full of new faces.
Nia Lewis
Slotting in seamlessly to the midfield after joining on loan from Bristol City, Nia has adapted like a fish to water to tier three football, and scored her first senior goal in unbelievable fashion with a weak foot free-kick at Hashtag United.
Ellie Sara
Four goals from two starts saw Ellie Sara finish the month on a high, as she capped off August with a spectacular hat trick against Lewes at the County Ground.
