The Grecians return to The County Ground on Sunday where they will host Real Bedford in the WNL Southern Premier.
A week on from a thrilling encounter with AFC Bournemouth where two late Sarah Stacey goals secured a point on home turf, City's focus now turns to Real Bedford and a chance to leapfrog the crypto-team.
Having already faced the Pirates in the FA WNL League Cup back in October and coming out on the wrong side of a 2-0 scoreline, Abbie Britton will certainly be looking for a response from her team this time around. With an injury crisis that has begun to subside, the team have benefitted from a more populated bench with names such as Bow Jackson and Beth Ireland returning to the matchday squads after suffering previous injuries and faving lengthy times out.
Goalscoring threats for the visitors will seemingly come from Issy Bryant, having netted 11 times in 23 appearances for the Bedfordshire side. Meanwhile at the top of the WNL Southern Premier goalscoring charts, Sophie Gillies continues to chase down AFC Bournemouth's Sophie Rosalind Quirk for the top spot after scoring 19 so far this season.
The Grecians will look for a boisterous crowd of supporters at The County Ground on Sunday, in their final home game of the season in TQ12 so be sure to get your tickets below!
