Exeter City Women will travel to Torquay United in the first round of the Adobe Women's FA Cup, on Sunday, October 26.
The Grecians made it to the fourth round last season, equalling a club record run in the competition. Along the way they saw off Keynsham Town, Worthing and had a famous 5-1 victory at Home Park against Plymouth Argyle, before eventually succumbing to Championship side Sunderland.
This year, City's cup campaign will begin in the English Riveria, as they face Torquay United in a competitive game for the first time since February 2024, when the Grecians won 2-0 thanks to goals from Sophie Gillies and Sarah Stacey. The two sides also met in that season's edition of the FA Cup, where the Grecians ran riot, as a hat-tricks from Zoe Cunningham and Sarah Stacey, along with a Matilda Franchi strike sealed a 7-0 thrashing.
