Voting is now open for Exeter City Women's April Player of the Month award!
The Grecians finished the season on a high with a third consecutive County Cup secured in dominant fashion against Plymouth Argyle, before two more league fixtures. Although the result at high-flying Hashtag United didn’t go their way, a dramatic home comeback against Watford—played in front of a record crowd of over 3,000—ensured Abbie Britton’s side signed off the campaign in style.
From those performances, Fearne Slocombe, Phoebe Baker and Ishbel Zuurmond have been nominated for the final monthly award of 2024/25. A big thank you to Exeter City Supporters' Trust who have sponsored the competition this season!

Fearne Slocombe
City’s temporary Robin came into her own at the start of April, competing in the middle of a midfield that dominated the Devon Cup Final, while Fearne also showed a different side to her game defensively shielding the backline away in Essex against Hashtag.
Phoebe Baker
If there’s a player who wouldn’t want the season to have ended it would’ve been Phoebe, as her form in the past few months has only been on an upward trajectory. Adapting to a slightly deeper role in City’s final day comeback against Watford, the number seven has proven to be a key player in the run in.
Ishbel Zuurmond
Another midfielder who wouldn’t have wanted the season to end, Ishbel switched from provider to goalscorer in the final month of the campaign. Starring in and finishing a wonderful move against Plymouth Argyle before completing the comeback with her first SJP goal, Miss Zuurmond concluded 24/25 in red hot form.
