Voting is now open for Exeter City Women's March 2026 Player of the Month award!
After a testing end to February, March opened with a home defeat to Oxford United as the Grecians fell to three consecutive losses. Abbie Britton's side however managed to kick on and pick up form for the majority of the remaining month however, with wins over Hashtag United & Real Bedford and a draw against AFC Bournemouth putting the side in good stead ahead of the Watford game. While the Grecians came out on the wrong side of that scoreline, it capped off a generally positive few weeks for City with four nominees standing out from the crowd.
This season's award is sponsored by the City Gate Pub and Hotel. Conveniently positioned just a hop, skip, and jump from Exeter’s historic city centre and Central train station, they're a firm favourite with the locals. With a fine selection of real ales and craft beers aplenty, they've got something to satisfy every taste.
