Exeter City Women are delighted to announce the signing of Tyrii Bell, subject to FA registration!
The goalkeeper arrives in Devon following her exit from WSL 2 side Ipswich Town, arriving with a whole season of tier three action under her belt from playing on loan at Billericay Town.
Before her time at Ipswich, Tyrii previously played for Cambridge City and AFC Dunstable, and performed strongly during her season with Billericay in Essex.
On making the move to the Grecians, Tyrii explained how she was looking forward to pushing her game while at the club.
"It's really exciting, it's been really good to start meeting the players and explore the grounds," said the goalkeeper.
"The club is massive on its player development and that's my focus for this season, to develop myself as a player and as a person, having moved away from home to be here.
"I'm quite a loud player, I like my flashy saves, those big dives - I'm quite explosive. Hopefully some good moments to come this year!"
Speaking about signing Tyrii, City Women Manager Abbie Britton said: "Tyrii has bags of quality. When she was playing for Billericay last year she showed outstanding individual performances, and so when we spoke earlier this summer and she was interested it was a no brainer for us!
"She's a tall commanding presence in the penalty area, is a great communicator, and most importantly shot stopper, having all the attributes to be a great goalkeeper here at Exeter."
Tyrii has been allocated number 1 of the 2026/27 season, and if you would like to sponsor our new recruit, please contact our Commercial team on commercial@ecfc.co.uk.
Welcome, Tyrii!
