This month’s Exeter City Foundation big winner is Robin Bostock-Smith, who has won the £1,000 prize for March.
Robin does not live locally and was unable to be at SJP for a presentation, he has generously promised some of his winnings to the Trust and some funded a trip to Cheltenham for the Festival.
Robin has been supporting City since his school days: “My relationship with Exeter City began in the mid sixties. I was a boarder at QES in Crediton when my father in a rare moment of generosity bought me a season ticket. We would meet in Exeter before the game. Standing with him in the old Cowshed was as close as I ever felt to my father. I was then hooked.
"My idols were Alan Banks & Dermot Curtis. Although I have never lived close enough to Exeter to be a regular attendee I have been there on most of the big occasions including 3 play off finals & home and away cup ties against Manchester United, Liverpool & Newcastle. Bizarrely I have also been to Accrington Stanley and Fleetwood. I am a member of various support groups including the 1931 Fund.”
