An evening with Graham Rees

All supporters are welcome to come to the Centre Spot on Friday, March 13 for an evening with Graham Rees.

Inducted into the Grecian Hall of Fame in 2017, Graham now lives in Wales, and has kindly agreed to join us to share his many memories. He's aware of current financial issues at the club and is keen to help in any way possible, so there'll be an opportunity for attendees to make a donation if they so wish. Money raised will go to the 'This is Our Club' fund administered by Elaine Davis.

He will be joined on the evening by another club legend, Alan Banks. Graham and Alan were two members of the 1963/64 promotion winning team.

Graham played for City from 1954 to 1966, making 370 appearances and scoring 92 goals in all competitions.

The meeting will take place in the Centre Spot, with the bar open from 5.30pm. At 6.15pm, Pete Ferlie will kick off proceedings with a few words and the session with Graham will start at 6.30pm.

So whether or not you remember watching Graham play, please come along and show him and Alan your support. You'll find out how a 17 year old lad from Pontypridd came to be signing for Exeter City, and hear plenty of stories from back when football was a very different game to what it is now.

There'll be opportunities to share your own memories of that era too.

Any attendees aiming to use the club car park should arrive between 5.30pm and 6pm.

Although organised by the Senior Reds, this meeting is open to all supporters, so please spread the word. The event will take place in the Centre Spot and the bar will be open from 5.30pm.
